1990

Circuit Research Corporation (CRC) is founded to provide specialty chemistry and associated services for the printed circuit board industry. The company gained a reputation as a formulation innovator andexcellent service provider to national and international markets.

2002

Gregg Elliott founds Seacole and acquires Circuit Research Corp. Operations were established for the combined company in Delano, MN.

2006

Seacole-CRC acquired C & H Chemical. A St. Paul, MN based chemical formulator established in 1935. The C & H Chemical acquisition brought a storied legacy of Industrial Cleaning Professionals and Products along with it’s strong market relationships in transportation and industrial cleaning.

2008

Seacole is honored as one of the Fast50, the fastest growing fifty companies in Minnesota by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

2009

Originally operating out of two locations, Seacole-CRC consolidates into a single headquarters and manufacturing site in Plymouth, Minnesota.

2013

Seacole-CRC forms a powerful new partnership with a major global chemical manufacturer and expand its specialty chemistry manufacturing offerings.

2015

The company reaches a major milestone and becomes ISO 9001:2008 certified. Meeting ISO standards certifies that Seacole’s operations meet strict international quality standards, increasing productivity and expanding market access.

2016

Seacole joins the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD). As a member, Seacole pledges to adhere to the organization’s strict responsible distribution standards for handling, storing, and delivering specialty chemistries.

2017

The company upgrades its ISO certification to ISO 9001:2015 to maintain an exceptional quality management system and continue to deliver consistent high-quality products.

2018

Seacole founder and CEO Gregg Elliott had the honor of being a featured panelist for Enterprise® Minnesota State of Manufacturing® event.

2020

Seacole goes solar with an array installation on the roof of their Plymouth, Minnesota facility. 25% of Seacole’s energy requirements come from solar energy.

2021

Seacole acquires Phyton Corporation and ST Biologicals to expand its reach into the agricultural market. The investment advances Seacole’s vision to deliver innovative green specialty chemistry.

2024

Seacole continues to grow as a company with an emphasis on strategic planning. Seacole’s employee engagement grows enabling a bright future.
